Back Height

Back Height:

Back height is the height from the floor to the top of the back of the chair. Traditional height is 32", but chairs are routinely provided with backs as high as 44". Back height has an impact on back-to-back spacing, and the higher the back, the more space that is required. For chairs mounted on treads and risers, backs are considered a rail by some code authorities.
