Origin is Irwin's first elastomeric suspension back and seat system, bringing technology proven in high-end office furniture to the schools and venues Irwin has served since 1907.
Comfort is engineered into the fabric itself, zonally tensioned to support a range of postures and heights through long lectures or performances. Durability is built in, with that fabric permanently fused into the frame—no glue or fasteners—so it won't fray or sag over time. And the design does more with less: a clean, modern profile for a calmer, more focused experience in every seat.

A patented encapsulation process fuses the fabric directly into the frame, creating a chair built to last—one that held strong under 1,200 lbs of force in testing.
