The Academy at Shawnee
Fixed Audience Seating
The Academy @ Shawnee is part of the Jefferson County Public School system and serves families of West Louisville. The building was constructed in 1927 and recently the district has invested more than $41 million into renovations to transform this historic flagship school into a model 21st-century learning environment.
Part of that renovation included the 994 seat auditorium. Irwin Seating was privileged to provide new Citation chair model 90.12.86.4. Chairs are provided in Stone plastic and powder coat which works well with the historic aesthetic of the space. Aisle end panels were provided with Nevamar Royal Mahogany and the fabric used was Absecon Mills Shire Merrimac.
