Kidd Community Center
fixed audience seating
Poteau Public School's Kidd Center originally opened in 1696. A 2022 renovation to the space included the construction of treads and risers for the majority of the seating area. The space is used for concerts, plays, testing, and various community events.
The fixed seating includes 526 Millennium chairs equipped with rear-mount cupholders and self-storing writing tablets spaced apart for testing. Seating for the stage left wing was created using a fixed bleacher unit and Prestige Millennium chairs. The stage right wing includes an operational VersaTract telescopic system with forward-fold Millennium chairs.
The seating is upholstered in Spalding, Illusion grey mist viny. Aisle insert panels and writing tablets are surfaced with Nevemar Clear Maple laminate.
