Goucher College / Baltimore, MD

Founded in 1885, Goucher College sits on 287 beautiful acres on the outskirts of Baltimore. In 2017 Irwin Seating provided seating for two auditoriums in the Dorsey College Center. Work in the Kraushaar Auditorium included the replacement of 539 chairs in the center rows of the space. The upper and lower rows are to be replaced at a later date. These chairs are model 6.12.60.4 Century PAC and feature backs with concealed attachment hardware and flat wood armrests. The seating here is finished with Charcoal Grey plastic and powder coat (paint) and No. 27 Classic Golden on Red Oak. Backs and seats are upholstered with Momentum Origin Steel fabric.

Seating in the Merrick lecture hall was replaced with model 8.15.60.4 Meteor. These chairs feature exposed hardware on the backs and the No. 15 upholstered Crusader seat with an attractive veneer surfaced bottom panel. These chairs are also finished with Charcoal Grey plastic and powder coat and the wood components are No. 27 Classic Golden on Red Oak. The upholstery fabric used for Merrick was Guildford of Maine Open House Lapis.
