KU David Booth Memorial Stadium

A Unique Game Day Experience

KU Booth Memorial 0480

Opening for the 2025 season, the transformation of David Booth Memorial Stadium is more than an update to a football venue — it’s a bold gateway to the future for both the University of Kansas and the city of Lawrence. The project prioritizes fan comfort, flexibility, and long-term adaptability.

To bring this vision to life, Irwin was selected as the primary seating partner. The majority of seats are rail-mounted Venue360 chairs, a system designed to “future-proof” the stadium by allowing sections to be reconfigured as fan expectations evolve.

The seating mix includes:

Centura CT306 with intermediate armrests in the lower bowl, delivering comfort and personal space.

Centura CT302 padded chairs in select club sections, adding an elevated level of finish.

Centura CT306 armless chairs in the upper deck, chosen for their compact footprint to replace traditional aluminum benches while still providing each fan with a defined, comfortable seat.

For premium areas, Citation and Signature chairs were installed in suites, ensuring the highest levels of comfort and style for VIP guests.

The result is a stadium that combines tradition with innovation — enhancing every fan’s experience today while ensuring the flexibility to adapt tomorrow.
