The Minskoff has 1,597 seats and is one of The Nederlander Organization's nine Broadway theatres. The theatre opened in 1973 and has a much more contemporary feel than other Broadway theatres. The fixed seating is model 17.12.66.4 Davies from Irwin Seating and features comfort curved, solid hardwood armrests and concealed aisle lights. Backs, aisle end panels and armrests are finished in No. 22 Classic Rosewood. JB Martin Porto Red velour was used to upholster the backs and seats.
