The Herbst Theatre was the site of the United Nations charter signing by 50 countries in 1945. In 2013 the balcony and dress circle seating was replaced with 380 model 29.6.163.12 Rialto chairs. The backs and seats are upholstered in Arc|Com Francesca Wool Russet velour, wood are stained in a custom finish to match other woodwork in the theatre.
