BC Place opened in 1984 and was originally installed with Irwin Seating Gladiator chairs. Following the 2010 Winter Olympics, the stadium was renovated and the original 40,000+ chairs were replaced with new 30.52.00.30 Patriot chairs. In addition, Irwin Seating provided 1,690 Citation chairs in lounge & club areas and 1,337 Signature chairs in the suites.
