Specification:

Aisle standards shall be decorative aluminum castings of a period style, constructed to properly support the aisle chairs. The cast aluminum standards shall be floor mounted and designed with minimal flair, projecting forward where necessary at a low, mid, and high level to provide a proper base and support seats and armrests. The rear edge shall be vertical while the front edge shall be fully rounded projecting in and out. Base legs shall be flanged and angled to generate substantial support, while the seat support area of the standard shall be perfectly round. The center portion of the standard shall feature raised relief, flowered vines, flower blossoms, and triangles enclosing tri-petal blossoms. The lower face of the standard shall project a decorative, flowered figure to simulate an “umbrella rest.” The cast aluminum standards shall be floor mounted and of proper thickness and design required to properly support the adjacent chair at the correct height and pitch. The exposed surface of the cast aluminum aisle standard shall be base-coated with an electrostatically applied powder coat, and decorated with enamel by the architect's instructions in the contract drawings (minimum of one decorative color above the powder base coat). Aisle standards shall be provided with cast aluminum lugs for supporting aisle standard armrests.
