Aisle standards shall be decorative aluminum castings of a period style, constructed to properly support the aisle chairs. The decorative castings shall be approximately 11” wide and shall feature an upper marquee portion of the standard, an ornate, low-height decorative cross-brace, and flanged decorative cast legs. The upper marquee portion of the standards shall be bordered by columns ornamented with intricate pendeloques, small upper and larger lower pendeloques both of appropriate height. The marquee section shall be a narrowly trapezoidal decorative face featuring a beaded double rectangle with radiused upper corners and modified at the bottom by terminating in a catenary arch with embellishing scrolls at the base. The lower cross brace shall be formed to a double ogee shape emblazoned with vertical flutes, and bordered by raised rectangular floral stars. The cast aluminum standard shall be floor mounted and of the proper thickness and design required to properly support the adjacent chair at the correct height and pitch. The exposed surface of the aluminum casting aisle standard shall be base-coated with an electrostatically applied powder coat, and decorated with enamel in accordance with the architect's instructions in the contract drawings (minimum of one decorative color above the powder base coat). Aisle standards shall be provided with cast aluminum lugs for supporting aisle standard armrests.

Aisle standards shall be decorative aluminum castings of a period style, constructed to properly support the aisle chairs and provide aisle lighting by concealing light fixtures within the upper portion of the standard. The decorative castings shall be approximately 11” wide and shall feature an upper marquee portion of the standard, an ornate, low-height decorative cross-brace, and flanged decorative cast legs. The mid marquee portion and upper marquee portion of the standard shall both be bordered by columns ornamented with intricate pendeloques, the upper and lower pendeloques both of appropriate height. The mid marquee section shall be a narrowly trapezoidal decorative face emanating from the upper marquee portion and featuring a beaded double rectangle modified at the bottom by terminating in a catenary arch with embellishing scrolls at the base. The upper, decorative marquee portion of the standard shall feature a plumed center medallion and lower slotted grate, and shall protrude sufficiently to form a convenient space enclosing and concealing120 volt, A.C., incandescent aisle light apparatus, as well as lower slots for light emission. The lower cross brace shall be formed to a double ogee shape emblazoned with vertical flutes, and bordered by raised rectangular floral stars. A separate cast access cover shall be provided for the upper rear of the standard to provide access for the integral aisle light. The cast aluminum standard shall be floor mounted and of the proper thickness and design required to properly support the adjacent chair at the correct height and pitch. The exposed surface of the aluminum casting aisle standard shall be base-coated with an electrostatically applied powder coat, and decorated with enamel in accordance with the architect's instructions in the contract drawings (minimum of one decorative color above the powder base coat). Aisle standards shall be provided with cast aluminum lugs for supporting aisle standard armrests.
