The Camping World Stadium opened in 1936 as part of the WPA program during the Great Depression. In 2014 the city of Orlando began a $207 million upgrade which includes improved sightlines, wider row spacing and more than 30,000 new seats supplied by Irwin Seating Company. The stadium hosts concerts and NCAA bowl games. To help differentiate seating areas multiple models were installed.
